Position Title: Advertising Coordinator

As the Advertising Coordinator, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating all advertising campaigns: including print, cinema, radio, online, outdoor, transit, search engine advertising, and online lead generation (CPC and CPL) campaigns.
A key part of this role is delivering results in search engine marketing. As such, this role demands a thorough knowledge, strategic understanding and previous hands-on experience in developing, implementing and executing search engine advertising campaigns.
Core Responsibilities:
• Strategically develop and implement new search engine advertising campaigns – including campaigns in targeted international markets.
• Maintain and monitor daily existing campaigns for Google Adwords and Bing for budget management and performance.
• Day-to-day execution of tactics to improve click through rates, click quality and lead quality.
• Manage keyword research and discovery.
• Grow and optimize keywords portfolio through testing with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, etc.
• Work with the writing and design team to produce search engine ad copy and banners.
• Prepare ongoing monthly reports for the search engine advertising campaigns, with recommendations for improvement and optimization.
• Research and strategically develop relevant online lead generation campaigns.
• Maintain and monitor all new and existing online lead generation campaigns.
• Prepare monthly reports for all online lead generation campaigns with recommendations for improvement and growth.
• Track, monitor and optimize recommendations for campaigns and landing pages.
• Undertake thorough research on advertising media, present and recommend relevant advertising media for new campaigns and campaign extensions .
• Prepare and negotiate all advertising contracts, including rates, and ad positioning.
• Develop and maintain an advertising production schedule to ensure that all advertising submission deadlines are met.
• Communicate to the creative team of writers and designers requirements of all advertising.
• Work with the Web Developer to ensure the accurate tracking of all advertising.
• Maintain approved ad layouts for placement and work with the creative team to complete routine revisions and updates.
• Proof all ads, secure timely approvals and submit artwork.
• Review all tear sheets.
• Assist with annual advertising budget development .
• Measure and track advertising results and provide timely feedback on all campaigns.
Job Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Google, and Bing! paid search interfaces.
• Understanding of bid management fundamentals.
• Knowledge of the newest tools and continual updates on search engine advertising.
• Familiarity with the implementation of conversion tracking code.
• Working knowledge of key web analytics tools.
• Sound understanding of testing principles.
• Understanding of general advertising principles.
• Broad overall business acumen and knowledge.
• Broad understanding and skills in strategic marketing and communications.
• Excellent negotiation skills for media buying.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet able to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinking and planning skills to develop short and long-range integrated strategies.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Three years progressive experience in advertising including search engine advertising.
• A bachelors degree: Marketing and/or Advertising preferred.
