Relay for Life 2012Â SFU-styleÂ is just around the corner!

What is it you ask?

This event could change your life! Join with thousands who have decided to fight back at an event that celebrates cancer survivors and honours loved ones who havenâ€™t survived. There will be laughter and fun, joy and sorrow but mostly, conviction that cancer can be kicked out of our lives and communities â€” if we act together.

The money raised will be invested in cancer research to save lives; deliver trusted information and caring support to people living with cancer and cancer prevention initiatives.

About the Author: Zahra Premji

Her headphones in, music blasting, and of course groovin' to the beat of the day literally no matter where she is! This is how you'll find Zahra on most days, whether it be while writing papers or bungee jumping. Adventurous and spontaneous are probably the best words that describe her and her lust for travel and discovery from Australia to Africa. Zahra loves what she does because she enjoys digging up the facts and using her voice to tell the stories that may not be heard otherwise. Considering she is just about done her Major in Communications at SFU she hopes to make her dreams a reality and take the steps towards becoming a Television Broadcaster.

The Knots lead singer and lead guitarist Jeff and Johnny came on the August 23 show and gave their first on air radio interview with Y57!
