Defining Moments Exhibit

When do you feel most Canadian? And if you could express it creatively, through any medium, what would you create?

Come down to Gallery Gachet on East Cordova Street for the Defining Moments Exhibit from Friday, June 15th to Sunday July 1st, to see a variety of artwork from young artists across the country. Throughout 2011 and 2012, TakingITGlobal has been working in partnership with Canadian Heritage to explore the personal relationships of youth with Canada, by receiving artwork from those 13 – 30 years old. The selected artwork are to be exhibited all across Canada, in cities such as Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.

Min Young is finding her place in the world as a first-year Commerce student at UBC. What she misses the most right now are her toy poodle dog Tobi and the long hair she cut off after graduating from high school.
