Free Concerts at the Celebration of Light!

Before you catch Brazil and Italy’s spectacular fireworks displays this Wednesday, August 1, 2012, and Saturday, August 4, 2012, be sure to check out the first ever Shore Fest!

This year, along with the Celebration of Light, free concerts will be held on English Bay as well as Sunset Beach. Hosted by Shore 104.3, the concert series offers the hottest names in Canadian music. Performances at the Rogue Stage located on Sunset Beach begin at 2pm and will be including musicians such as The Be Good Tanyas, Joel Plaskett, and Great Lake Swimmers. English Bay will be home to the Shore 104 Stage where you can find acclaimed acts like Jets Overhead, The Trews, and Vancouver’s very own Said the Whale starting at 7pm.
