Are today’s youth more retirement and saving friendly?
I came across a recent article from the National Post, written by Matt Gurney that discusses the future of today’s youth. The article came to me as a pleasant surprise since the general consensus is that youth have a tough life ahead of them as we see prices rising and the economy down-turning.
The liquor laws have changed yet again, as B.C. is trying to do anything they can to stop underage drinking. Because of this, a new rule has been put in place this summer, stating that it will be the server who is fined for serving alcohol to minors rather than the restaurant.

Health Canada was recently targeted in reducing the alcoholic energy drinks in B.C. It all started on May 25, 2012, as an article was released by Sarah Schmidt in The Vancouver Sun expressing the rise and danger of alcoholic energy drinks. Because of this, the topic of mixing energy drinks with alcohol has been an overwhelming popular topic in media today. This topic is concerning because youth are the highest target to this dangerous epidemic.
