Y57 is Proud to Announce the Winner of Our 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands!
Vancouver, BC (August 26, 2011) – Y57 (Youth in 57 Minutes) Media is proud to announce the winner of our 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands Competition that was held at the Rio Theatre on August 25, 2011. After five amazing performances that night, Jasper Sloan Yip was the winner! Jasper and his band walked away with the grand prize worth over $1000 including:
- One Y57 show devoted to the band that includes a live on-air interview with members and live performance segments dispersed throughout 57 minutes of broadcast time
- 10 hours of recording time at The Hive Recording Studios (valued at $450)
- T-shirts for entire band designed and printed by Hamburger Disco
- A feature article and photo shoot by TheModline.com
- Movie vouchers from the Rio Theatre
- Hair and makeup services for the photo shoot from London School of Hair (valued at $100)
- One free oil change from ABC Main Auto Centre
