September 11, 2018 | The emotional and electronic genius Josh Eastman

Happy Tuesday Vancouver!

On tonight’s show, Rachel and Alex got to meet Josh Eastman. He is a talented singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from the Vancouver area who just released his first EP, “Cold Tiles”, back in July. We caught up with Josh to learn more about his music, his inspirations, and what it’s like to be an artist in Vancouver in 2018. His music is fuelled a lot by his observations and relationships, and it comes together with the electronic beats and groove that his songs have. The result is a emotional and electrifying experience.

When he’s not working on his own music, you can also catch Josh at Studio Cloud 30, where he teaches voice and other classes. He is also currently at Capilano University finishing off his studies to become a music educator.

If you want to learn more about Josh, you can find him on Instagram. You can also find his music wherever you like to listen and stream it!

Also on tonight’s show: we threw it back to Winsome Kind’s “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” when we had them on last week, played some brand new Fionn as well as some Men I Trust, an indie, dream-pop band from Montreal.
