March 12, 2019 | Voices in (Stanley) Park

On tonight’s show, we got to sit down with our very own Rachel Wong! She recently presented at SFU’s Faculty of Communication, Art, and Technology (FCAT) Undergraduate Conference on some research that she’s been doing on Stanley Park and First Nations relations. As it turns out, there is a lot more to Stanley Park than meets the eye, especially when it comes to the history of the park!

Take a listen to Sam’s interview with Rachel here:

To learn more about Rachel and her research, you can check it out on her website here. You can also follow Rachel on Instagram and Twitter.

Also on this show, we wanted to give a special shout out to our NEW team members, Chris and Eunice, who will now be taking over Y57! We’re so grateful that they’re joining us and we can’t wait to see where they’ll take the show. Be sure to tune in every Tuesday at 7 PM to meet and hear them!
